From the first chapter to the final page
A list of books read tells you what you finished. A session log also keeps the journey: how much time you spent with a book and how your reading progressed.
In Niblio, you can keep books as pending, reading, read or abandoned, and start a session when you sit down to read. When you finish, enter the page you reached. The app calculates your pace and estimates the remaining reading time.
- Add a book by ISBN, title, author or manual entry.
- Start the timer when you begin reading.
- Save the page you reached at the end of the session.
- Check the history to see how that reading has progressed.
Understand your habits at your own pace
A reading calendar, daily page counts, streaks and yearly goals help you understand your habits. Use your statistics to plan a little more reading time or simply remember the books that have been part of your life.
If you read several books at once, keep each in your library and record sessions against the book you actually read. Your nightly novel and your weekend nonfiction can each have their own history.
Reading estimates depend on your recorded sessions and pace. They are not a deadline to finish a book.
A small log can still be useful
Suppose you read from page 42 to page 68 in 25 minutes. Saving the book, final page and time lets you pick up where you left off and look back at your activity. You do not need to write a long review every time you close a book.
| What to record | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Book and status | Know what you are reading and what you finished. |
| Page reached | Return to the right place next time. |
| Session time | See how much time you spend reading. |
| Date and history | Look back at your reading across the weeks. |
Your reading history stays on your device
Niblio does not require an account. Your library and sessions are stored locally, so keep a backup somewhere outside your phone.
The free version includes all features for up to 100 books. Niblio Unlimited removes the book limit with a one-time purchase. Book and cover searches, purchases and error diagnostics use external services.
